Gundogs.Org.uk is proud to offer the following training days for potential clients. Prices are set at an introductory rate of £95 per day with the exception of the real deal and exclusive day's which are POA.
Novice Day
Open to those with or without their own dog. The aim of the novice day is to introduce the inexperienced to the exhilarating world of gundogs. It allows the novice to try and test various gundog breeds and gundog sporting disciplines. The day will provide the novice with a real insight into the sport, which in turn will help in the decision as to which element of the sport that they would like to pursue further. Help, advice and guidance will be given to take the novice to the next level.
Lady's Day
The Lady's day is specifically for the lady who wants to enter the shooting field. It is supported by Carole Clarke who is a well respected and successful lady in the world of gundog trialling. The Lady's Day is open to both novice or experienced gundog handlers and is also open to those with or without their own dog. The aim of the day is to introduce Lady's into the world of gundog sporting disciplines and with Carole's experience and gundog training excellence, Lady's will develop the confidence along with advice and guidance to progress to the next level.
Junior Day
Youngsters are our future. The aim of the Junior Day is for youngsters to experience a shoot day. Open to those with or without their own dog, this day gives an ideal introduction of young handlers to the world of gundog sporting pursuits. They will receive valuable help, advice and guidance which will provide them with an experience they will want to continue and then develop further to the next level and beyond.
Gundogs in the Field -: Beginners -: Intermediate -: Advanced
Gundogs in the Field Days will be tailored to meet each individuals needs within the stage categories. This will be assessed from the information given on each individual's application to ensure the day provides the clients with the required level of training advice, technique and guidance. The client must have their own dog so that they benefit from the range of advice that will be provided to enable them to progress to the desired next level.
Introduction to Field Trialling
Field Trialling is considered to be the “desired level” of many gundog handlers. Although based on the general principles of gundogs in the working field, there are some areas within the formality of trialling which have subtle differences. The aim of the day is to introduce clients to the understanding of what is required from the handler and gundog in the participation of a field trial.
The Real Deal
The Real Deal is a fantastic opportunity for handlers and their dog/s to participate in a fully simulated shoot day. It will simulate all disciplines of a real shoot day from the beating line to the dog and gun. The clients will participate in all the disciplines and will feel exhilarated from the benefits of a simulated shoot day experience. For clients who have not had the opportunity to have ever been on a real shoot, the Real Deal is guaranteed to provide them with an unforgettable sporting pleasure.
Exclusive Day
The Exclusive Day is for the discerning gun and dog. With exclusive one on one tuition with the trainers the day will provide an excellent opportunity to prepare for the coming season. From troubleshooting to steadiness, the training is aimed help achieve that polished performance from gun and dog whatever the discipline, shoot day or walk up day.
